1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains what information this site collects, how tool inputs are handled, and what choices you have. We built this site around a simple principle: if a tool can run entirely in your browser, it does, and your text never reaches our servers.
2. Information processed by tools
Most tools on this site — the Token Counter, AI API Cost Calculator, Context Window Visualizer, Prompt Length Estimator, System Prompt Formatter, Prompt Library, and the standard modes of the AI Text Detector, Similarity Checker, and Burstiness/Perplexity Checker — run entirely client-side in JavaScript. Text you paste into these tools is processed in your browser and is never transmitted to, or stored on, our servers.
Where a tool offers an enhanced or “pro” mode that calls a third-party AI API for higher-quality results (for example, an advanced AI Humanizer rewrite), the text you submit for that specific action is sent to the relevant API provider for processing and is not retained by us afterward. That is clearly labeled next to the relevant control.
3. Information we collect automatically
Like most websites, we use standard analytics and advertising technology (such as Google AdSense and a web analytics tool) that may collect: your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and general location. This data is aggregated and used to understand site usage and to serve relevant ads. See Section 5 for ad-specific detail.
4. Cookies
We use cookies for basic site functionality (like remembering your dark/light preference, if offered) and for analytics and advertising, as described below. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; some site features may not work as expected if you do.
5. Advertising
This site is monetized in part through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.
6. Contact form data
If you use our contact form, the name, email address, and message you submit are sent via a third-party form-relay service directly to our inbox so we can reply. We don’t add contact-form submissions to a marketing list.
7. Data retention
Because most tools process text only in your browser, we have no server-side copy of that text to retain or delete. Analytics data is retained according to our analytics provider’s standard retention settings. Contact-form emails are retained as long as needed to resolve your inquiry.
8. Children’s privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Your choices
You can: clear cookies at any time via your browser; opt out of personalized ads (Section 5); and avoid the “enhanced” API-powered modes of any tool if you’d prefer your text never leave your device.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
